Export series New export series 2006. ![]() 6=6|M=2006|M=July|8=8th day|S=25|1=10 so, it's 2516th registration of July 8, 2006. By the way I was standing next to the numberplate machine at the automart and noticed that after 9MM R99 comes 0MM RB0, then 1MM RB0. And the R means 1000.
Year letters used on second position: B D F G H J M N P R
The former registration system is explained below: ![]() 4=serial number (ones) B=year of issue (see list) F=month of issue (see list) M=day of issue (see list) 3=serial number (hundreds) 2=serial number (tens) LIST (YEARS) (MONTHS) (DAYS) B = 1990 B = January 1=1 I=17 D = 1991 D = February 2=2 J=18 F = 1992 F = March 3=3 K=19 G = 1993 G = April 4=4 L=20 H = 1994 H = May 5=5 M=21 J = 1995 J = June 6=6 N=22 M = 1996 M = July 7=7 Q=23 N = 1997 N = August 8=8 P=24 P = 1998 P = September 9=9 R=25 R = 1999 R = October 0=10 S=26 B = 2000 T = November B=11 T=27 D = 2001 V = December C=12 V=28 F = 2002 D=13 W=29 G = 2003 F=14 X=30 H = 2004 G=15 Z=31 J = 2005 H=16So, for example I will explane the plate above:
4=4 B=1990 F=March M=21st day 3=300 2=20. This is the 324th plate of March 21, 1990.
There are also codelists to calculate the date of expiring, but I left that out to keep it simple.
These plates are usually valid for a month orso. Transit series (Z) These transit series are black on white and are only valid for 7 days. The 07 month code on bottom plate is an error.
